Cosimo Carlucci: Works and Restorations.

Permanent exhibition- with 59 works made between 1958-1981, the exhibition proposes some of the most significant works of Cosimo Carlucci, brilliant salentine sculptor appreciated at national and international level during the '60s and the '70s and during his career he has received critical tributes by Argan, Portoghesi and Fagiolo.

Tradition and innovation founded a perfect combination in the figure of Cosimo Carlucci who commented a modernity with an international appeal. During the research of the '60s and the '70s his works were characterized by a perfect fusion between sculpture and architecture, he anticipated some trends which have become current nowadays. The works are exhibited at MUST Museum and they represent an important overview of Cosimo Carlucci's creation. The exhibition includes about 50 sculptures given by the artist to the city in the '80s for the contemporary art gallery of that period; works which come back to their original magnificence thanks to the restorations made by the experts of Castromediano Museum.
