Nymphea- Photographic exhibition of Rossella Venezia

The photographic exhibition "NYNPHEA" by Rossella Venezia is presented by the social- artistic- cultural Association Le Ali Di Pandora for the cycle appunt@menti: Meeting with the author in Lecce.

Lucy Ghionna writes: " Rossella Venezia's photos are touching and disturbing. It looks like the bodies are put into hermetic jars, flattened and compressed but surrounded by natural elements which make theme poetic. The bodies are packed, ready to break the holder and to make the substance get out, or they look happy to be put into the jars with " spices in oil". It is clear that the figures are feminine and I think that she made this choice to represents the daily fight of women.
Rossella's works mix different tones: spirit, sensuality and touched seriousness. She puts on the woman the will to send to hell all the cosmetics, the tricks and all the models of a body, a thought, a behaviour imposed by male dreams".
