Exhibition The Pop Surrealism of MAX HAMLET SAUVAGE

From May 11th to August 10th , the works of the pop surrealistic painter Max Hamlet Sauvage are exhibited at the ex Friary of Teatini in Lecce in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecce. The exhibition describes events and protagonists of burning topicality through zoomorphic metaphors. Every thing is immersed in an aura of dream which is taken away from the usual idiom of mass-media and it is purified from the most shameful implications given by the news items. The actuality is portrayed on canvas in pictorial language and with plastic effects in its trenchant style. The exhibition is open to all. Free entry.
