Church of Saints Peter and Paul Apostles

The church dates back to the Byzantine period, even if there are no reliable sources on the year of its construction. It was first reported in the early years of the 16th century. It was a simple building in a classroom with three altars, a sacristy and a small bell tower. The church was dedicated to St. Peter. Inside the church there was also a cemetery.
In 1608 the Archbishop Lucio De Morra asked the observants and the mayor to engage in the reconstruction of the building. The work began in the same year. The vestry was rebuilt, the plant became a Latin cross with a new façade to the south, decorated with various ornaments. This facade is now the secondary entrance of the building. In 1893 were built the clock tower, not far from the 17th-century facade and the octagonal spire bell. 2 bells were present during the Fascist period were later removed to be remelted. Currently there are three.
